Studio Policies

Effective July 1, 2026

These policies apply to all class packs, credits, and bookings purchased from sculpturing. By buying a pack or booking a class you agree to them. The specific price, number of credits, and expiration for each pack are shown at checkout, and the cancellation window for each class is shown when you book.

Class packs & credits

Classes are paid for with prepaid credits, sold in packs. Credits are tied to your account, are non-transferable, and hold no cash value. Packs are sold for a specific class type (for example, a Mat pack pays for Mat classes and an Equipment pack pays for Equipment classes); a credit can only be used for the class type it was purchased for, as shown at checkout.

Expiration

Credits expire after the period shown on each pack at the time of purchase (single-class packs typically expire sooner than multi-class packs). Expired credits are forfeited and are not refundable or extendable except where required by law. We recommend booking your classes before your credits expire. Credits redeemed from a gift card are the exception: they never expire (see Gift cards below).

Booking, cancellations & late cancellations

When you book a class, one credit is held for that reservation. If you cancel before the cancellation cutoff shown for that class, the credit is returned to your account. If you cancel after the cutoff, or don't show up, the credit is forfeited, just as if you had attended. This lets us offer your spot to someone else in time.

No-shows

A reserved class you do not attend and did not cancel in time is treated as a late cancellation: the credit is forfeited.

Refunds

Class packs are generally non-refundable. If you believe a refund is warranted, contact sculpturing directly and we'll review it. Where a refund is granted, any unused credits from that purchase are removed from your account when the refund is issued. A refund reverses the sale, so the credits go back with the money. Credits already used for classes you booked or attended cannot be refunded, as the class was reserved and delivered.

Payment disputes & chargebacks

If you have a problem with a charge, please contact sculpturing first. We can almost always resolve it faster than your bank. If a charge is disputed or reversed, any unused credits from that purchase are removed from your account. For classes you already booked or attended, we may respond to the dispute with your booking and attendance records, since those classes were reserved and provided to you.

Gift cards

Gift cards are prepaid and non-refundable. The recipient redeems the code for credits. Gift card credits do not expire. Once redeemed, the booking and cancellation terms above apply to using them — but the credits themselves never lapse.

Schedule changes

If sculpturing cancels or reschedules a class, any credit held for that class is returned to your account in full.

Liability waiver & release

Every member signs this waiver once — electronically at sign-up or in the app before their first class — and it covers every visit.

Voluntary participation

I am choosing to take part in pilates classes, private or duet sessions, and related fitness activities at sculpturing. Participation is voluntary, and I understand I may stop any exercise at any time.

Assumption of risk

Exercise — including work on reformers, towers, stability chairs, and other studio apparatus — carries inherent risks, including muscle strains, sprains, broken bones, and, in rare cases, more serious injury. I understand those risks, and I accept full responsibility for any injury or loss I may experience in connection with my participation, except to the extent caused by the studio's gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Health & medical readiness

I confirm that I am physically able to participate and that I have consulted a physician about any condition that could make exercise unsafe for me (including pregnancy, heart conditions, or recent injuries or surgeries). I agree to tell the instructor about any injury, condition, or limitation before class, and to follow instructor guidance on form and equipment use.

Release of claims

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release sculpturing, its owners, instructors, and staff from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of my participation, including claims based on ordinary negligence. This release does not apply to gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Emergency care

If I am injured, I consent to receiving first aid and emergency medical treatment, and I understand any related costs are my responsibility. I may list an emergency contact on my account so the studio can reach someone on my behalf.

Agreement

This agreement applies to every visit and class, not just my first, and remains in effect unless I revoke it in writing (after which I understand I cannot participate). If any part of this agreement is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Signing electronically — by checking the box at sign-up or tapping "I agree" in the app — has the same effect as a handwritten signature.

Privacy

sculpturing collects only what it needs to run the studio: your name, email, phone number, optional emergency contact, and your booking and purchase history. Payments are processed by Stripe — sculpturing never sees or stores your full card number. We use your contact details to send booking confirmations, class updates, and receipts, and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing. To update your details or ask for your data to be deleted, contact the studio using the details below.
